1. You try to put wood in the stove with one hand because the other arm is cradling a sleeping baby that you do not want to wake up by putting her in a crib.
2. Because you are pregnant, you burn your hand on the stove (of course) and have to shove the rest of the log in with one foot.
3. You go upstairs to ice your hand.
4. You realize what you are icing it with is the dealie that came with the formula samples, designed to keep bottles cold in the diaper bag.
(5. You catch yourself actually typing words like "dealie".)
But she didn't wake up!
