I was going to write a nice profound post with a quote from my devotional book that was impactful for me this morning, but blogger ate my post three times so I decided it wasn't meant to be.
In summary: don't get discouraged with dark times and impatient enough to take a deliverance which isn't of the Lord. It won't work and it'll just make things worse. Be content to sit in the dark and wait on Him, and He'll deliver you when it's right.
The imagery made me remember Frodo in Shelob's lair. We may be having a global depression with a crew of happy idiots running things, but things could always get worse; at least there aren't any giant spiders living in my laundry room. :) (And Congress, with all their flaws, aren't quite as crazy as the last Steward of Gondor, either.)
Cheers,
Breanna

Dear, SCARY Uncle Denathor...
Hope it's a good day. You are absolutely forbidden to have Boychild when the roads are this bad! Tell him to be considerate of the fam that must travel.

Funny, that was my thought with my first Braxton-Hicks of the day: "Not today, nobody could get here today, you have to wait until the roads thawed." He listened. ;)
More like little girl in big bed. Very cute. Poor Lambie.
