I Have Thanksgiving Pics

We are just still getting re-settled after being gone all week.  I will post them soon, though.  As well, pictures of the kids trying to crawl under the Christmas tree.  Should be awesome.

Birthdays, Floods, and Babies

Ok, so here is what we've been doing all this time.  We have been:

Riding in the packback, because we are fussy when we're sick...

...not too sure about what sister is doing...

...pretty thrilled with the camera light...

...amazed that a hole that small in the pipe could cause all that havoc downstairs...

...testing out our "Kiss Unmasked" look with Aunt Kenny...

...relearning the joys of ripping paper with Uncle Deve and Aunt Anna...

...sharing with Cousin Eddie (sorry, she still has Ds in her name), who shared right back in the most charming way...

...making coffee...

...loving on our new friend, "Woofie".

Cheers,

Breanna

The Difference Between A Bad Cold and The Flu

...would be the spelling.

We're sick with one or the other; I'm not sure which and I don't really care, with two feverish, whiny babies both clamoring to lay on top of me and drink juice/"baby maulsh" simultaneously.

So, you'll understand if I don't get the pictures of Miss Boo's 2nd birthday party posted real quick... :P

Breanna

I KNEW It!

And it's BBC confirming it!  Not Foxnews. :)

Take that, Algore.

Check Me Out

It occurred to me that I ought to have a "professional" writing blog--mostly because the magazines where I've been published keep asking for links to my professional writing blog.  So I made one today; it'll be less interesting for folks in the fam than this one, but at least it's there if you are curious:

The name is explained in the first post. :)

The Sitting Boy

All by his own little self...

Sadly it degenerates from there.

P.S. A dehumidifier runs $100 per day. Who knew?

Sometimes Being the Grownup Stinks

...like when the toilet breaks and you have to replace its pump with something called (literally) the Turboflush M-30. That costs $600.

Or when you're innocently going about your business (paying bills, ironically enough) in your basement office and you put your foot in a puddle. Upon investigating, you find that the puddle is welling up from the crawlspace under the stairs, and upon further investigating you find it has spread...to the entire guest room floor.

I don't know how much Kleen King is going to charge us to come out on an emergency service call, but thank the Lord they have a 24-hour line and the really big shopvacs/fans.

(Yes, we fixed the leak. No, it wasn't the toilet.)

Pray for us?
