Taking it From the Lord's Hand

You should be aware that if you pray that you will have a productive, happy day, the Lord may decide to wake you up at 3:30 (and 4:30, and 5:00) in order to bond with your middle child.

It's okay.  I worry he gets short shrift sometimes during the day, between his gabby older sister and his mobile-and-eating-and-grabbing-everything baby brother.  It was nice to sit and hold him and listen to him tell me lots of things with his mouth shut.

Yep, it's still dark out.  And we're doing puzzles.  Because it's quiet.

I decided that today I will concentrate on loving my kiddos and loving my house.  Because houses need love, too--you can feel it when they're maintained but not cherished (like an arm-candy girlfriend with three furs).  And let's face it, between potty training mishaps, weird hours, and Mama allowing her mood to blow up into a storm, the house has been neither maintained NOR cherished lately.

So, today, to cherish.  Why don't you cherish someone or something today, too?

Cheers,

Breanna

Yeah, we middle children tend to get ignored, but it's a good thing. We get to be our own person when we grow up.
